Taiz – Thursday, 20 September 2026

The Auar Foundation for Justice and Development today conducted a specialized training workshop entitled “Prompt Engineering Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in Digital Justice,” in partnership with Al-Saeed Center for Rehabilitation, Training and Consultancy, and in cooperation with the ARIJ Network for Investigative Journalism and the Google News Initiative. The workshop was held as part of a training program running from 20 to 22 September 2026

Today’s workshop was the first in a series of training sessions designed for separate groups of young people. This approach aims to broaden access to the program’s benefits and ensure equitable access to the opportunities, knowledge, and tools offered by digital transformation

The workshop aims to develop young people’s capacities and equip them with new skills in using artificial intelligence tools, applying them practically and responsibly to promote democracy, support advocacy efforts, verify information, and explore new ways to advance access to digital justice

The workshop also focused on the concept of prompt engineering and effective ways to formulate prompts, while raising awareness of the importance of information verification and critically evaluating content generated by artificial intelligence tools. These skills are intended to help participants use such technologies more accurately, thoughtfully, and responsibly

The workshop forms part of the Auar Foundation for Justice and Development’s efforts to strengthen digital literacy, build young people’s capacities, and encourage the informed and responsible use of modern technologies. These efforts contribute to advancing justice and development, strengthening community participation, and opening up new opportunities for young people to use digital transformation to address issues affecting them and their communities

The training program will continue with activities targeting additional groups of young people, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to expanding learning opportunities and promoting knowledge exchange on the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence tools in areas related to justice
