Call to Youth, Human Rights Defenders, and Activists in Taiz

We call on all young people, human rights defenders, and activists in Taiz Governorate to assume their humanitarian and human rights responsibilities by working to monitor and document violations committed by the Houthi militias. These efforts will contribute to uncovering the truth, preserving evidence, ensuring justice for victims, and safeguarding their rights

We also urge everyone to make use of the two attached guides issued by the Human Rights Information and Training Center and the Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights, and to cooperate with the Office of Siege Affairs and the National Commission of Inquiry into Alleged Violations of Human Rights by providing them with any available reliable information and verified facts, while ensuring accuracy, proper verification, and the safety of victims and witnesses

Documenting violations is a shared responsibility, and preserving evidence today is an essential step toward achieving justice and securing redress for victims tomorrow
